Service Description

Classes are 8-week sessions. Students are allowed 5 hours of lab time during the week. All classes include one 25lb. bag of clay. Beginning students will learn fundamentals, such as wedging, centering, throwing, trimming & glazing. Students can work at their own pace with the help and direction of the instructor. Intermediate / Advanced students will continue to develop their acquired skills and begin to refine their work. Techniques may include such things as creating lidded forms, altering forms, and more. Shanel began pottery in high school and completed her BFA from Colorado State University. She teaches all levels of classes both at the NoCo Potters Guild and the City of Loveland. Shanel has participated in many local shows and also sells her work online. She has been a member of the NoCo Potters Guild since 2012.
