  • Cancellation/Refund Policy is as follows:

    • Cancellations 21 days or more to the start of the session will receive a full refund.

    • Cancellations between 20 and 15 days prior to the start of the session will receive a 50% refund.

    • All others will forfeit their registration fees.

  • Wheel Throwing for All Skill Levels with Shanel Cass-Caskey

    • TUESDAY 9A.M.-11:30A.M.  JULY 1 – AUGUST 19

    • $250
       

Classes are 8-week sessions.  Students are allowed 5 hours of lab time during the week. One 25lb. bag of clay is included.

Beginning students will learn fundamentals, such as wedging, centering, throwing, trimming & glazing. Students can work at their own pace with the help and direction of the instructor. Intermediate / Advanced students will continue to develop their acquired skills and begin to refine their work. Techniques may include such things as creating lidded forms, altering forms, and more.


Shanel began pottery in high school and completed her BFA from Colorado State University. She teaches all levels of classes both at the NoCo Potters Guild and the City of Loveland. Shanel has participated in many local shows and also sells her work online. She has been a member of the NoCo Potters Guild since 2012.

  • Wheel Throwing for Beginners and Returning Students with Tessa Marquardt-Burrell

    • TUESDAY 6P.M. - 8:30P.M.   JULY 1 - AUGUST 19

    • $250
       

Classes are 8-week sessions.  Students are allowed 5 hours of lab time during the week. One 25 lb. bag of clay is included.
Beginning students will learn fundamentals of wheel throwing, such as wedging, centering, throwing, trimming & glazing. Returning students will work on advancing their skills. Make sure to dress to get muddy, bring a hair tie, and leave rings at home!

Tessa was introduced to wheel throwing as a teenager and joined Northern Colorado Potter’s Guild shortly after. She has now been a member for 10 years. Over that time she has developed an art style that gravitates towards geometric forms and high contrast glazes. Tessa looks forward to creating a positive, fun space while helping students make their best forms with ease by focusing on the techniques used while throwing.

    • THURSDAY 9A.M.-11:30A.M.   JULY 3 - AUGUST 21

    • $250
       

Classes are 8-week sessions.  Students are allowed 5 hours of lab time during the week. One 25lb. bag of clay is included.

Beginning students will learn fundamentals, such as centering, throwing, trimming & glazing.

Intermediate / Advanced students will continue to develop their acquired skills and begin to refine their work. Techniques may include such things as creating lidded forms, altering forms, and more.

With a total of 34 years of experience teaching pottery, Chris Wolff has been teaching at the guild since 2011. He has a Masters of Arts degree from the University of Northern Colorado and has been recognized with numerous in-state and national art show awards. Chris's pottery has been represented inver 80art galleries across the country and can currently be viewed at Trimble Court Artisans in Old Town, Fort Collins.

Classes are 8-week sessions.  Students are allowed 5 hours of lab time during the week. One 25lb. bag of clay is included.

Beginning students will learn fundamentals, such as wedging, centering, throwing, trimming & glazing. Students can work at their own pace with demonstrations and the help and direction of the instructor. Last class is reserved for glazing.
Intermediate / Advanced students will continue to develop their acquired skills and begin to refine their work. Techniques may include such things as creating lidded forms, altering forms, and more
